My name is Jean-Paul LaFontaine. I am 40 years of age and am from Brisbane Australia. I have FSH and use a wheel chair and have recently travelled alone to New York for 2 and a half weeks, were I met with some wonderful people including the staff at NY Muscular Dystrophy, the NY Greeters and greeter Julie Compton, the NYFD as you can see in my pictures and many others. I also travelled solo to London Paris (see pic), Dublin and Rome last year.

I have recently trialed a trike, and although not quite for me, it was great doing a few laps. My the search will continue to try and get something modified to suit.

I am very fortunate to have my LEVO standup chair as well as my Emotion power assist wheels. They allow me to live a full life. See The Able Adventurer.
